If lots of people said they code better while riding a unicycle, I'm not sure I'd just dismiss it off hand.



No but I want real evidence. Lots of people say they are more productive with vi than a GUI editor but depending on the task a real study can show one or the other is more productive. You see this all over - expensive audio cables sound better than cheap...
