Love plotnine when I switched over to python and great to see the project develop! But I have to admit I ended up switching to altair after all which has been my go to in python now.
I've been curious of other publication quality figure generation libraries for python, if you have a moment I'd be interested as to why you chose Altair over plotnine? I'm well and truly entrenched in the Matplotlib style of plotting, so I appreciate any opinions here.
